Pantheon Stumbles Upon Corpse of M'uru!
08/22/2008 02:59 PM by Tiluvar.

So M'uru just happens to be standing on a chair, attempting to kill a spider on the ceiling during Pantheon's nightly Sunwell dance party when Ryva, dancing like only a drunken Paladin can - limbs flailing everywhere - stumbles hisher way into Muru's room, topples the chair backwards and knocks M'uru to the ground, rendering him unconcious.

Momments later, the party makes it's way into the room and, mistaking it for a pinata, proceeds to beat on his comatose corpse until epics pop out. I've thought long and hard and in my mind that is the most likely explanation for this screenshot:

It was either that, or Muru died of exhaustion. Those are really the only plausible explanations. I mean come on now, I've seen you on your alts, I've watched you stand in Death & Decay after attempting to misdirect with your face. You're not fooling me. You don't have to keep sending me "screenshots" to justify my lonely nights in Ironforge while you party the night away. I'm not mad, really. I like hopping from square to square in Ironforge trying not to touch the sides for several hours.

..I'm just joking I don't really do that.. uhh..

So anyways,

Muru is dead, Kil'Jaeden is up next and there's no signs of slowdown. One of my biggest gripes with WoW is how flakey players can be sometimes in regards to wiping. Wah I wiped and have to run 10 feet, I quit. Wah I wiped and have to repair, I quit, and so on. So believe me when I say that I am quite proud of you guys for sticking to it, and getting Muru down, it makes me proud to be a member of the guild, and eager to see where the expansion will take us.

Keep up the good work everyone, you are all doing an amazing job.

I suppose I should make a couple of things clear. I don't really raid; so when I inevitabely say something that doesn't even make sense, blame me, not the raiders. I'm basically just giving my own perspective on what's going on in the guild's raiding scene from miles away, which probably makes me at least as reliable as the mainstream media.

Consider me the Fox news of guild updates *shifty eyes*

I suppose we could get one of them to write this, but despite popular belief, we didn't stop raiding when DramAndomin left, and a busy raid schedule doesn't leave much time to blab on and on for the news page.

Anyways, back to progress..

Above we can see what appears to be a mob of some kind, people tell me it means we're making fantastic progress on M'uru but I'm pretty sure Ryva just photoshopped a picture of that first boss in Arcatraz, and all this talk of "raiding" is just guild parties in Sunwell that I'm not invited to.

More seriously though, M'uru is no joke, but the dedication of the Pantheon playerbase is prevailing. I suspect to be able to update this again soon, when all that remains is Kil'Jaeden. Everyone is doing a fantastic job bringing their best play to an encounter when by all rights insanity should have set it already.

You all are doing an old Dwarf proud. Your success gives me reason to stumble around Stormwind with my Pantheon tag, acting like a big shot, and I for one, appreciate it greatly!

The guild has been changing quite a bit over the past few weeks, and for the better too! First off before continuing, I was hoping to write about M'uru in my next chronicle, but after a long debate I've decided to quit the game and continue a game I put on pause, life.

The leadership is changing a lot as well. Natasi is our new quality assurance Guardian, and it's the curse of that rank to be the only one with it! Congratulations on your promotion, you'll do a fine job. I've offered the chronicle to Kylessa, and hopefully she accepts, so our next news post will be from her. With Osirax choosing another path and Tubs under a pile of work, Bayleron has stepped up as raid leader. Expect this news post to be edited when the officers vote on a new guild master.

So goodbye Pantheon, and goodbye Steamwheedle Cartel. I wish both of you the best of luck, and as always...stay classy. Our best M'uru attempt has him at 60%, I expect to see some news soon!

Pantheon Bloodline has made yet another milestone for the history books. Tubs, our dedicated and lovable guild leader has decided to step down as Lord of Pantheon Bloodline. We'll miss him as our guild leader, but the extra summer work load has forced him to pass on the leadership and retain his roles as main tank and officer.

It was great while it lasted. Tubs has an extraordinary ability to lead, and has led our guild through Sunwell Plateau. He will still be around and will remain our main tank for the foreseeable future. There is a silver lining to this cloud however. Osirax, who was sent to Germany not that long ago, has returned from his period of inactivity. Yet again, Osirax will assume the role as Lord of Pantheon Bloodline. The guild, and server, wishes you both the best of luck in your newest exploits.

Pantheon Bloodline has laid the Eredar Twins, Lady Sacrolash and Grand Warlock Alythess, to rest in Sunwell Plateau. Our first kill was in reverse order, which is more difficult than a regular kill. So enough bickering, here's a screenshot!

Weekes behind! Congratulations to Winters on his [Slayer's Boots], Leisa and Kaj on [Golden Bow of Quel'Thalas], Katyah on her [Sin'dorei Pendant of Salvation] and a scrub named Nerf on his [Amulet of Unfettered Magics]. This kill required multitudes of effort from each guild member, and a lot of teeth grinding. We've fallen off ledges, we've pulled Oblivion Mages into the room, we've blown each other up, and we've face palmed a lot. But we pulled through and came out of the situation smelling like roses.

At this time I'd like to recognize and congratulate our new trial members! Alannara, Mosdefor, Nadeya, Shyrena, Starroxia and Valiora. All six of them are talented members of their class and have shown dedication through our progression in the past few weeks. Pantheon laid sundered from burnouts and graduations, but we've finally slain the Eredar Twins. Congratulations guys, and I'm kind of angry that my new necklace won't link in this news thread!
